What Wedding Stationery can you produce?

Invitations, RSVP Cards, Map/Directions Cards, Accommodation/Local Information Cards, Place Cards, Camera Cards, Menus, Table Number Cards, Table Plans, Order of Service, Save the Date Cards, Thank You Cards, Or anything else that you can think of!

When should we order our wedding stationery?

We recommend that you send your invitations out approximately 3 months before your wedding date, so if you come in to see us 4-5 months before your wedding day then that will give us plenty of time. An express service can be provided when required.

How long does it take?

You will receive proofs to check wording and layout within 7 days of placing the order. Once they are approved you will receive your printed stationery within 3 weeks. Don't worry if you have limited time as we can provide an express service when required.

How many invitations should we order?

Once you have written your guest list you can work out your invitation quantities, remember that you will only need one invitation per couple or family. We recommend that you order a few spare invitations to allow for mistakes, to invite replacement guests if anyone cannot attend and to keep as souvenirs, it is much cheaper to do this rather than order more invitations later as they would be charged as a new order.

Do you have a minimum order quantity or amount?

No, we can produce as few or as many invitations as you need.

Why do you not have set prices?

We realise it is not convenient that we do not have set prices but it actually does save you money because it means that we can keep our prices as low as possible as each specific job is quoted for individually. We are very competitive and most people are amazed what great value they are getting for a uniquely designed stationery set. That’s why around 80% of the couples that we quote for do go ahead with the order, a figure that we are very proud of. To give you an idea, our prices have ranged between 1.00 - 6.00 per stationery set, the average being around 2.50 - 3.00. A stationery set would include the invitation plus information cards and RSVP cards and envelopes.

Do we need to be local for you to produce our stationery?

Not at all, we have produced many sets of stationery using telephone / email / post as means of communication, you will be surprised at how simple the process is!

Can I provide my own design & artwork?

Yes, we can print straight from your files as long as they are provided in a useable format. If you have an idea but don’t have the facilities to design them yourself our in-house designer can bring your ideas to life.

Are we stuck to certain colours/fonts/formats?

Not at all, at CTB we provide a bespoke service which means you can have exactly what you want rather than being restricted to specific styles/colours We have thousands of fonts to suit all occasions. If you do not have a specific style in mind we will often initially send you your chosen style of invitation in various colours and fonts for you to choose from, we usually email PDF proofs as this is the quickest and most economic option for proofing but if you need proofs in the post this can be arranged.

Can we use our own wording?

Yes, you can use the wording of your choice. If you need guidance we can suggest the wording appropriate to the style of your wedding.

Can I have my invitations in another language or bilingually?

Yes, full translations must be provided and proofed by yourselves.

Can we have extra embellishments on our stationery?

Yes you can have whatever you would like, the use of ribbon and embellishments can really add character to an invitation, we often recommend that you add these bits yourself as it saves you money and is a nice task to carry out with the bridesmaids! We can advise you on the best materials and techniques or you can just pay us to add any embellishments if you do not have the time.

Can I include additional information with my invitations?

Yes, we can print this information for you on separate note cards, in a style to complement your wedding invitations, or incorporate it within your invitation. If you have this information printed at the same time as the invitations it will bring the costs down as there are no additional setup and finishing costs.
The extra informational cards you could provide are RSVP Cards, Directions and Maps, Local accommodation & taxi details, Wedding List, Menu choices and various others.

When do I pay?

We require full payment on collection or if we are sending out your stationery we will require payment asap once you have received your goods. We are confident that you will be happy with the quality of our stationery so we do not ask for a deposit.

Can I arrange a consultation with you?

Yes! You are welcome to come into our studio based in Kettering, this will give us a chance to show you samples of previously produced stationery and discuss your requirements. If you are not able to come to Kettering we can discuss via phone/email & we can post samples to you. Our opening hours are Monday – Friday 9.30am – 4.30pm. Click here to contact us.
